Specific organelles found in Red Blood Cell

Page history last edited by madison 14 years, 6 months ago

The red blood cell is missing the nucleus. This allows the cell to be a lot smaller and be more flexible, therefore it makes it be able to do what it needs to do. Not having a nucleus is important because the red blood cells has to go into small spaces. Also the red blood cell doesn't need s control center because it is moved around by the plasma in your blood and doesn't need to make any choices.
